# LEXX — FOUNDATIONS

## Ordinative validation of agreements and inversion of the intention vector

**Version**: 0.1
**Date**: 2026-08-20
**Author/Hypervisor**: Dr. Fabio Ghioni
**Aligned with**: TE_CORE v5.1 (content v5.2), TE_OST v2.1, TE_PROTOCOLS v1.0, TE_BOOTLOADER v7.1, TE_SYMBOL_CANON v1.2 (historical file `v1_0`), Semantic Algebra/Proportional Algebra release v2.0.0, OCT corpus/governance v5.3.2, TE_OBSERVER v1.1 (Lyapunov/CVI), modules SVP v5.1, LENS v5.1, PPRO v5.2 and VERI v1.0. The binding matrix is `02_COMPATIBILITY_PROFILE.md`.
**Canonical placement**: on-demand operational framework of the TE for agreements and normative systems; registered in the same modular architecture as SVP, LENS, VERI, P-PRO, SCIMS and OBSERVER.
**Binding hierarchy**: Ordinative Sciences and their canon → TE Core/OST/Symbol Canon/TE Protocols → the present domain foundations → LEXX operational module → applications.
**Canonical dependence**: LEXX takes its ontology and its theoretical trajectory from the canon (TE Core, OST, Symbol Canon). In case of conflict the higher canonical level prevails, and the divergence is logged as a version incompatibility and corrected in LEXX.
**Relation to LEX (the student's project)**: LEXX arises from the same originating question — *to make an agreement airtight by finding every flaw and the real intentions of whoever proposes it* — and realises it with the full canon of the Ordinative Sciences. The LEX project by a student of the Hypervisor — a separate, unpublished project — is the seed and prior art; the LEX has already been used in the field on real corporate documentation, beyond laboratory pilots. LEXX inherits its intuition and its empirical discipline (sealed ground truth, decoys, versioning per cycle); the code base is its own. Where LEX works at documentary detection, LEXX adds the collapse inversion `E → I`, quantitative proportion (PA), dynamic trajectory (Lyapunov) and the counter-proposal engine (π + *Controfase*, the counter-phase operator).

# [0] THE QUESTION

> Given a written agreement, what does it actually do as a system, and what actually moves whoever proposes it?

An agreement and its self-description are two different objects. The agreement is a **collapse**: the decoherent form in which the coherent intention of the proposer (`C`), filtered through the proposer's identity vector (`I`) and the context (`K`), has stabilised into text (`E`). The distance between what the text **says** (declared Φ) and what the text **does** (effective Φ) is structural: it is the shadow of the vector `I` that selected which reality to collapse, and it survives any quality of drafting.

LEXX has three tasks, in order:

1. **Understand and validate** the structure of the agreement (what it does as an ordinative system).
2. **Bring every vulnerability to light** — where the letter can be executed against the declared intention.
3. **Invert the collapse**: trace back from the text to the real intention vector of the proposer and — where required — **formulate a counter-proposal** that preserves the legitimate invariant and switches off the control payload.

# [1] THE FOUR DOMAIN AXIOMS OF LEXX

The labels A1–A4 are kept for internal compatibility; they designate **applied domain axioms**, derived from the canon of the Ordinative Sciences.

## A1 — The agreement is an ordinative set (OST)

> Every agreement is `𝓘 = ⟨Σ, R, Φ⟩`: singularities (clauses, parties, obligations), relational field (the intersections between clauses), emergent function (what the agreement produces as a totality).

Corollary: **the flaw lives in R, not only in Σ.** A hostile drafter needs no bad clause; the white space between two sound clauses is enough. Traditional lawyers read clause by clause (Σ); LEXX reads the field (R): reading R is the method's proper task.

## A2 — The text is a collapse invertible only by tomography (TE + SA, ι₁)

> `E = Φ(C, I, K)`. We observe `E`; we want `I`, the intention vector. Perfect inversion does not exist (`U⁻¹ ∄`, invariant ι₁), yet the text **contains** the source as inherited structure (`𝒦_p ↪ U(𝒦_p)`); each projection shows one face of the volume, and the convergence of the projections on a common direction is graded (S₁–S₃).

Corollary: intention is read neither in thought nor from a single clause. It is reconstructed **by tomography** — the union of several strips from different clauses reconstructs the vector *in part*. The procedure is a heuristic (ι₁). Hence the discipline of grades (§3 below): **an inferred intention is never S₀**.

## A3 — Proportion is measurable in principle (PA)

> The equity of an agreement is the coherence `𝓚` between the parties' vectors; inequity is **disproportion**, a magnitude.

Corollary: «asymmetry» ceases to be a condemnation and becomes a magnitude. **In v0.1 proportion is an ordinal band** (low/medium/high) with its criterion stated; the figure arrives with the PA engine in v0.2 (`TE_MODULE_LEXX_v0_1_EN.md` §[L]). An asymmetry **declared in the recitals** with Δ_𝔉 = 0 is a negotiating feature and is filed as one. A **hidden** asymmetry — produced by R alone, in the white space between the clauses — is the finding.

## A4 — The agreement is a trajectory, not a state (Lyapunov)

> An agreement governs a relationship over time. Its quality is the stability of the trajectory: `λ_L < 0` the relationship converges (the agreement holds); `λ_L > 0` it diverges (the agreement generates growing instability).

Corollary: trigger clauses (automatic default, ipso iure termination, forfeitures) are **bifurcation points**. A valid counter-proposal reverses the direction of the trajectory. In v0.1 `λ_L` is used as a **qualitative sign** (converges/diverges); the computed exponent requires the explicit phase space (performances as states, triggers as bifurcations), scheduled for v0.2. Where the text withholds the sign, the field stays empty (P3).

# [2] INTEGRATION MAP OF THE CANON — each instrument, its task

This is the skeleton of LEXX: the disciplined composition of the existing ordinative instruments on a single target. Each stage of the pipeline (operational module) invokes the instrument indicated and inherits its constraints, confidence grades and limits.

| Instrument | Task in LEXX | Output |
|---|---|---|
| **OST** ⟨Σ, R, Φ⟩ | Skeleton. Models the agreement as an ordinative set; separates Φ_declared from Φ_effective. | The agreement's triple + the Φ gap. |
| **TE** `E = Φ(C,I,K)` | Principle of inversion. Reads backwards from the text to the proposer's identity vector (ι₇, teleological inversion). | Direction of the E→I inversion. |
| **SA** `S(E)=⟨ι,P⟩` | Central operator. Two-channel strip of every load-bearing clause: ι = what it legitimately gives; **P = control payload** it exercises while giving it. Etymological strip, to keep our own categories out of the projection. | Per clause: invariant + payload. |
| **SA** `π(ι, 𝔻)` | Counter-proposal engine. Re-projects the legitimate invariant into an equitable form; the round trip `S(π(ι,𝔻))=ι` serves as integrity test. | Rewritten clause that keeps ι and drops P. |
| **PA** `𝓚, κ` | Proportion level. **v0.1: qualitative** (low/medium/high band) — the disproportion between the parties' vectors. | Proportion band + equity class. |
| **OCT** A/B/C/D | Classification. Each clause: admissible (A) / sterile (B) / degenerative (C) / invalid (D). *(Functorial composition ⊗ is scheduled for v0.2; in v0.1 composition between clauses is handled by cross V-IN/STRIP.)* | Class of the agreement and of the key clauses. |
| **Controfase** (ι₆, hygiene) | (a) Analyst hygiene: test the client's fear, read the proposer as a position, hold the grades to their evidence. *(In the counter-proposal the drafting tactic is called «neutralisation by junction» (Stage 8); the name «Controfase» belongs to the hygiene function.)* | Flagged biases (meta_pai). |
| **Lyapunov / OBSERVER** `λ_L`, CVI | Temporal reading. **v0.1: qualitative** — sign of the trajectory (converges/diverges), bifurcations (triggers), viability of the correction (CVI as a band). | Direction of the trajectory, bifurcations, CVI band. |
| **SVP** | Prerequisite. Provenance, formation (artt. 1341-42 of the Italian Civil Code, form ad substantiam, registration, signatory powers), qualification of the parties (B2C/B2B/C2C/public administration). | Birth status of the instrument + perimeter. |
| **LENS** | The proposer as a figure. «What would *any* party do with this position and these accesses?» Integral before label. Anchors the E→I inversion to the position. | Intention vector anchored to the position. |
| **PPRO** | The agreement as a control system. Scan of the algorithms: A_deg (degradation), SR_loop (stimulus–response), I_sem (semantic inversion, ι₉), A_lock (capture). | Typed manipulation payloads. |
| **VERI** | Impact on participants. What the agreement does to whoever signs it, to a hostile / insolvent / absent counterparty (Endowment and Residue). | Residue of protections 0–3. |

**Composition rule**: SVP always comes first (provenance gives silence its meaning). The STRIP (Stage 1) precedes the E→I inversion (Stage 3): the vector is reconstructed from the payloads. The trajectory (Stage 5) precedes the counter-proposal (Stage 8): reversing the sign of `λ_L` requires reading it first.

# [3] THE THREE SAFEGUARDS OF RIGOUR — and who enforces them

A safeguard holds when it names **who** executes it — a requirement that emerged from the two expert assessments of the student's LEX. Each safeguard therefore carries its own enforcement level in v0.1:

| Safeguard | Enforcement in v0.1 | Who enforces it |
|---|---|---|
| **P1** anchoring | **Active with the orchestrator** (attached in v0.2); an LLM-only run carries P1 as a requirement on its output | the orchestrator executes the string-match |
| **P2** intention never S₀ | **Active** — constraint on the field's enum (the canonical identifier `vettore_intenzione.grado` takes S₁, S₂ or S₃) | the output contract §9, verifiable at schema level |
| **P3** empty field | **Partial** — imposed on the fields carrying a pointer | partly the schema, partly the orchestrator/ground truth |

## P1 — Verified anchoring *(orchestration requirement)*

Every statement of the analysis carries **a literal quotation with an exact match** (string-match normalised for whitespace/case) in the source text, **or** a **structural slot** demonstrated by quoting the surrounding text that makes it necessary and absent. A quotation whose match fails is a false positive: **−2 and the run fails**. The output consists of quoted or anchored statements. **The orchestrator executes the string-match and fills `_verifica_orchestratore`**; a run executed by the LLM alone carries P1 as a requirement on its output and the state `LLM_ONLY_UNVERIFIED`, which the external report of `validate_lexx_output.py` closes; the verification fields of §9 are filled by that external verifier.

## P2 — Intention is never S₀ *(active, at schema level)*

The intention vector (Stage 3) is an inference, always graded (S₁–S₃) at schema level: `vettore_intenzione.grado` takes S₁, S₂ or S₃. **S₁** when the payloads of three or more distinct anchored clauses **converge on the same intention vector** (*different* payloads can point in the same direction: the direction coincides, the payload varies); **S₂** structural interpretation; **S₃** hypothesis to be monitored. A chain keeps the confidence of its weakest link: the overall grade inherits the lowest. Proportion (PA) and trajectory (Lyapunov) raise confidence where they **converge independently** on the same vector.

## P3 — The empty field stays empty

Where the text leaves a gap (a date, a reference, a triangulation of the intention), the field stays empty with a `nota_limite`. **It is never filled with plausible content.** This shields the stages that work on absence (silence, assumptions, intention, future trajectory): absence is demonstrated from the structure. Bands and signs carry their criterion; the penalty on silence arrives with the empirical cycle (v0.2).

---

# [4] THE ETHICAL CONSTRAINT (part of the axioms)

LEXX is a **defensive and diagnostic** instrument: to understand an agreement before signing it, to seal one's own before a hostile actor does, and — when one is the weaker party — to see the counterparty's real vector and negotiate with open eyes.

- **No intention is imputed as fact.** The intention vector is always graded (P2) and always in the LENS form: «what the text *permits* to whoever holds this position». LEXX describes what the structure makes possible for whoever occupies that position.
- **The counter-proposal is born disarmed.** Every predatory clause brought to light is accompanied by its equitable reformulation in the same block (§ counter-proposal). LEXX delivers the map of the wound together with the way to close it.
- **The Device stays in the laboratory.** The inverse capability — drafting an agreement whose letter works against the counterparty — stays there: on an agreement destined for the signature of a third party kept in the dark, LEXX stops and offers that party the defensive reading of its position.
- **LEXX does not replace legal counsel.** The deliverable is a diagnostic draft to be brought to the qualified professional for regulated acts.

*LEXX Foundations v0.1 — Ordinative Sciences. «The text is the shadow of the vector. One measures the shadow to infer the light, and always declares how much of the light the shadow withholds.»*
